² Then I saw another angel ascending ^(A)from the rising of the sun, having the ^(B)seal of ^(C)the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the ^(D)four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, ³ saying, “^(E)Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have ^(F)sealed the slaves of our God on their ^(G)foreheads.”

⁴ And I heard the ^(H)number of those having been sealed, ^(I)144,000 sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
